Multiplo presents Presupposti di un’idea (Conditions for an idea), solo show by Igor Eškinja, curated by Daniele Capra. The exhibition features various works by the artist, as well as incomplete works and studies. This is the first part of a six months collaboration between the artist and the studio, in which Eškinja will produce a new set of works and a book.
Igor Eškinja (born in 1975 in Rijeka, Croatia) studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice. His works was shown, among others, in Manifesta 7, Italy; Casino Luxembourg – Forum d’Art Contemporain, Luxembourg; Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb; MAC/Val, Musée d’Art Contemporain du Val-de-Marne, France; Federico Luger Gallery, Milan Italy; ADN Galeria, Barcelona, Spain; Bank Austria Kunstforum; Power Plant Gallery; Marta Herford; 2nd Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art; Centro de Arte Caja de Burgos; FRAC Pays de la Loire, France. He lives and works in Rijeka, Croatia.
