Èurema is a Greek word which means found solution, unexpected discover. In mid-2017 we were commissioned to redesign the whole identity of Èurema Interni, a hybrid between an interior design studio, a furniture shop, a concept store and a design gallery.
We discovered the solution by observing the main tool in Èurema's workflow: the floorplan. A system based on square and circle, seen as a metaphor of spatial organization, becomes the main element of the identity, then a simple typography (Plain by François Rappo, from Optimo) completes the visual vocabulary.
The square-and-circle is also a reference to early 20th century rationalist design, that's the starting point of Èurema's vast collection of pieces, which counts many items of that historical period, but is always in search of new trends and never stops discovering new talents in industrial design.
We also designed a new website that acts as a general database of the product selection made by Èurema. The curatorial approach they use when they choose a piece becomes the manifesto of their vision.
