Multiplo presents Spacing, a solo show by Michele Spanghero featuring his ongoing series Studies on The Density of White. The exhibition, curated by Stefano Coletto, will be open until 30th October.
Spacing aims to give for the first time an organic view on Studies on the Density of White, an ongoing photographic project started by Spanghero in 2010. A selection of works will be presented in a dynamic sequence that permits different formal dialogues between images. A book on the project will also be presented, featuring images from the series as well as critical texts by Stefano Coletto and Silvia Conta.
Michele Spanghero also conceived specifically for this exhibition an artist's multiple (Study on the Density of White – Padova, 2016, 10 x 15 cm, inkjet print on fine art paper, edition: 40 + 5 AP), shown in the picture with its frame. The multiple will be available upon request (drop us a line to get info and order your framed multiple).
Michele Spanghero was born in Gorizia in 1979. He lives and works in Monfalcone.
Graduated in Modern Literature at the University of Trieste, he has also attended workshops on electronic and improvised music, sound design and video making.

He has exhibited and performed in various international contexts such as museums, galleries, clubs, and festivals in Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Turkey, Egypt and the United States of America.

His records have been released for several labels such as headphonica, Palomar Records, Gruenrekorder, and MiraLoop.
This exhibition has been possible thanks to the kind support of Pixartprinting.
