I.N.D.I.A. Industrie Chimiche↧ Read
When the company I.N.D.I.A. asked us to create a new visual identity for its monitoring traps, we were curious to discover what the origin of their company's name was. We then found out that it's an old acronym for "Industria Nazionale Disinfettanti e Affini" (National Manufacturer of Disinfectant and Related Products).
So we came out with T.E.A.M., that besides being an acronym for Trappole Extra Adesive per Monitoraggio (Extra Adhesive Monitoring Traps) is also a metaphor for the connection between I.N.D.I.A. and its customers. The company indeed aims to establish a relationship with customers, made of training, support, knowledge sharing – that being said, the application of chemical products needs high awareness and know-how to avoid environmental damage and hazardous waste production.
So we wondered if we have a team we should also imagine a championship… and we started to envision a match between bug teams and human teams, with playgrounds, uniforms, and – above all – fair play, that in our idea reflects a conscious use of chemical products.
In our minds the traps acted like the dressing rooms of the teams, so we devised a full set of team colors and patterns that we applied to traps and marketing materials, combining them with a simple typographic system.
